Set Labware at location Records a labware as being at a given device location. Useful in setup schedules, to bring the system into a known state before a run.
| Parameter | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Labware Type ✱ | string | The type of labware at the location. |
| Barcode | string | The barcode the labware is being recorded as carrying. Leave it blank if it has none. Accepts a schedule parameter reference, so the barcode can come from a run parameter, a database lookup or a LIMS response rather than being fixed here. Taken literally otherwise: a barcode is never evaluated as an expression, so a hyphen in one stays a hyphen. |
| Parameters | ParameterInstanceCollection | Starting values for the properties of the labware being recorded. |
| Location ✱ | string | The device location this step acts on. A single named position on a device, rather than a whole device or a store. |
| Notes | string | A free-text note kept with this step. It changes nothing at run time. Shown on the step in the schedule editor and in the event log. Use it to record why the step is here. |
| Enabled | bool | Whether this step runs. Clearing it skips the step when the schedule runs. The step stays in the schedule, in place and still configured. |
✱ Mandatory parameter
